I'm done school 8D Well, I still have exams, but I can live through that. I have to write a cruddy essay, though. 8-10 pages through a reader-oriented criticism approach on the shitty 132 page novella Silk. Ugh. And of course, the website I was going to use for most of my paper no longer exists, so I had to try and hunt it down elsewhere D:
Do you guys ever read those Music Japan Plus concert reports that might show up on your f-list? Aren't those just awful? lol. Whoever writes them tries so hard to describe things that it ends up sounding so ridiculous.
S.H.E released another killer album ♥ I also found another really great Mongolian folk-rock band called Domog. They're very similar to Altan Urag, but I love every single song on their album. My two favourites are "
Tatlagiin kholboo" and "
Börte" (both YT links). Perfection.
I'm also obsessing over Goya right now. When I was in this cool little restaurant in Krakow, they were playing really good music and after doing some searching I found it. I've only listened to three of their five albums so far, but they are really, really good.

I came across some pictures of older Communist-era Mongolia. You can check 'em out
here if you're interested. That site has a number of cool things on it :)
One of the things that really bugs me about Korean entertainment is that it's everywhere. I'll be browsing the most random LJ communities or forums and sure enough, someone'll have a Kpop icon or whatever D: It's just so unappealing, idgi.
Still have my fingers crossed for Paul McCartney. He added a show in Mexico, so I'm hoping he'll announce some for the northern US. NY or Detroit would be ideal, but Pennsylvania also works. The setlist for this tour has been amazing. He's playing
Nighteen Hundred and Eighty Five! I'd give a limb to see that song live.
There's coyotes in the field behind our house. It really creeps me out when I sleep with the window open when it's warm out and at like 2 am you hear them howling and yelping and whatever else they do :S
