Emory, and Atlanta
I love Emory! It's so pretty, and clean, and wonderful.
I HATE Atlanta. It's such a mean city, and gross. "Dirty south", much?
Anyway, I can totally see myself going to Emory and it's definitely one of my good possibilities. But if I do go there, I will never again ride their stupid metro system. I will probably actually not use public transportation. I would much prefer spending $60 on a cab (which we actually did once there)for 45 minutes than $1.75 to be miserable on a gross train with mean loud inconsiderate people for over an hour. (So from my experience thus far, DC and boston have the nice metros, and that's it - for now.)
And while I was there I didn't really feel the southern vibe that makes me not want to go to a school south of PA. Haha...
nice libraries (which most good colleges in general have), and pretty sweet buildings in general, and a nice campus, and their hospital is right there on campus, which is so awesome for medicine stuff. and they have jimmy carter on their faculty, which is pretty cool. and they have this connection with coca-cola, which is kind of funny. and a $5 billion endowment. awesome, no? and in addition to their amazing premed and med school, they also have an awesome business school.
