When Aesthetics Take Over
It’s been a while and I feel some nostalgia so I’m taking a deep breath and saying these words out loud while I write them. Life continues to surprise and splendor.
Basic Need Check List: Finances are low which translates into security and safety being worse than it ever has been. On the up side I have never cared more about what I have been doing. I am currently spending my days volunteering at an Elementary/ Jr. High. During my service learning experience, I have had the pleasure of working in a second and third ESE Class and also in the schools autism unit. I have seen first hand the need for individual attention some of the children require and lack of hands to help. Often times you walk into a classroom with the mission of enabling and impacting the lives others to later realize that they impact your life just as much. I feel highly effective and happy with this new found total control of my time.
My connection and trust in Ariel amazes me. Past is past and my present and future with him makes my toes curl. I trust now, more than ever in my ability to make myself and another happy. The world is still a revolving enigma one which I intend to explore before my grays set in. I bought my plane ticket to Spain I leave in January after Melissa’s wedding. I come back May and I don’t know what to expect.
