a weeping heart is a blindsight

so i guess a couple of you have been wondering what happened to me. so um a bit of an update:

so my RA decided to get the people of his floors to meet each other so he created a contest. So, wanting to meet  the people on my floor I walked around and knocked on some doors and met some cool people. And i won. so i got two 3rd row tickets to a yankee's game. That was cool.

here's a shot of me at the game. i was a bit shloshed cuz we all known how boring baseball is without beer.
but that area to my left is 3rd base. haha ok.

here is giambi:
he's rather ugly if you ask me. and he's not fit at all. But Brady and I had fun. And then we had some dinner at his brother's house. It's kinda crazy. Brady's brother and his gf live around the corner from us. hella insane. She's greek. like GREEK GREEK. She cooks like a beast. i like her a lot.

um let's see. The other night my roomies and i look outside the window and we see blood around the moon. I tried to take a picture but this was the best i could get:

That red blur above is the blood around the moon. creepy, eh?

um i went to sunday mass with a couple of my friends. Kelly is catholic and she was going and we all decided to tag along. Good thing it's at the ass crack of dawn. bleh.

we had to catalogue our adventures at church. i was blessed. it was kinda crazy. we sang. we hugged. we wished peace upon everything. For several minutes there we were all kumbaya with the world.

um let's see. OOH yesterday was september 11. That's insane to be in the city on such a day. It wasn't terribly different from other days. And i didn't really attend 9/11 events. I had class and i wasn't feeling too good so i stayed home instead of going to the candlelight vigils. but my roomies and i watched bush's address to the nation. His speech writer isn't very good. neither is his speech coach. he was taping out his pace on the desk. poor speech skills. But as we were going to bed I look outside my window and this is what i see:

Those two blue lines are where the twin towers once stood. They used to have those lights on everynight. This is the exact view from my pillow. I just pulled the blinds up and went to sleep looking at where i should have been able to see the towers.

isn't that amazing? New York just doesn't stop to amaze me.

and today I bought season 2 of grey's anatomy. i am ready for life. my roomie and i are having a marathon starting tongiht. yes!

oh and i am beyond addicted to falafel and chicken falafel sandwiches. mmmh good.
