Life gets in the way of living

Another subdued night shift style post here. The last couple of days have been spent appreciating having not only a fully working computer, but one I can take round with me. By day she sits at my bedside table, merrily downloading and playing me DVDs, by night she works next to me, ripping and encoding CDs. That's been the last few day's project, recreating and standardising my MP3 collection, and expanding it with the aid of Disturbed Tom. As I type this I'm over 200 albums in, and Traktor is sat in the background, analysing the 2000 odd files and creating waveforms for them. Despite the distraction of this and static_n babbling shite at me on MSN, I'm well on top of work; even though we had a brief 'oh my fucking God everything's died' moment around three. In an effort to keep on top of things, I've also caught up to the most recent Battlestar Galactica. Still haven't got round to Lost though.

At the risk of disrupting my otherwise perfect sleep patterns, today I will be going to visit perfectglitch to discuss plans for pornstarbarbie's party on Friday night, and making sure jonthebloody has survived the transistion from Norton to AVG (and his introduction to Limewire, MSN, Livejournal, EAC, etc...). No rest for the wicked? Well maybe we never wanted sleep anyway...
