Last night's excursion was to the newly reopened Ropewalk. At first I was suspicious that we'd be turned away for looking like scruffy tramps, but the door staff were friendly enough. The staff have been trained to sell the booze, giving you entire product histories if you just want a beer. There's table service too, possibly seeing as they were

I like the new ropewalk, though its sadly expensive. Tom and I went on the pre-opening (check us out) thanks to vouchers from stu and enjoyed free wine and some of the starters which are soooooo yummy! Very sexy decor upstairs too, me likey.

i'd noticed they were redecorating the outside, and wondered what was happening to the place... does this mean that it is no longer part of the scream franchise? it was nice to go there away from all the other students - a whole pub and all the pool tables between me and 3 other mates, lol. nice times... :)

back in notts soon, so will suddenly appear to be alive again, will start being more sociable as soon as the magic 'loan at the end of the rainbow' materialises... =/
