Cast them off like long rope
An astonishingly long time without an entry (hurhur) this week.
Didn't go out on Monday, stayed in and played with MY SHINY NEW LAPTOP instead. It's a Dell Inspiron 6000, customised a little to make it almost good enough to be a proper desktop replacement. Does everything I want it to though, lost_in_music_ is sorting me out with some DJ software, spazhammer has given me stuff to rip MP3s, and best of all, I can surf the internet in bed.
Tuesday I took a couple of days off work and went down to London to hang out with some old Uni mates, just to get away from Nottingham for a bit more than anything else. Found a bar, went drinking, caught up, relaxed. Wednesday I met up with TheSister and went to an Organic food place called Leon in Oxford Circus. Here she told me SHE'S GOT ENGAGED, which wasn't that much of a shock, but cause for celebration no less. The guy she's with, Simon, is a thoroughly nice chap as well. Parents are ecstatic, as well can be imagined.
Wednesday night, got home, everyone decided to stay in, so I did the same. Customised the laptop a bit (I think I'm going to call her Marla).
Tonight will see plenty of CD ripping and a probable excursion to Rock City. I can't be arsed with the gym today (or for the last few days, lardass).
