Hello internet!
I guess I really don't post because I'm too busy.
I'm going to have to go back to school pretty soon. I was thinking about not going back but everyone crapped themselves so I decided I'd finish this semester and see where I am at.
After this semester is over I don't know what I'll do. I won't be able to work and novice and student teach at the same time. So something isn't going to be possible. I can't not work for 4 months and loose my job. Can't afford that one.
I started my own part time business which I hope to make full time business in the near future. I really enjoy it and it's pushing me to do things I don't normally do. I like the challenge. I also like the possibilities. I get to help other people reach goals too and I love that.
For those that don't know I basically own my own online mall with thousands of products that we use on an everyday basis. Showering things, cleaning products, vitamins, jewelry, food, snacks, makeup, perfume, lotions, skin care, energy drinks, weight loss stuff and about everything else. I also have about 1100 different partnerships with companies online like best buy, barnes and noble, 1-800-contacts, Sears, PacSun and a ton more. SO, if you are going to shop at those places you should do it through my website. Text or call me if you want the address.
Jake is in Kansas city for our business and he's with our friend Josh who is thinking about starting his own business too.
I hope that he enjoys himself and learns a lot.
I want him to think big and to know that we can do whatever we want to. He's so smart and has a lot of good ideas. He can lead a team of kids at Airwaves and organize events and I know that he can apply those things to what we do. I want this to be something that we do together, that helps give us both common goals for us to reach together. I think that is something most couples don't have and I think that it's good.
I've been reading a lot of books like The Magic of Thinking Big and things like that. They help you understand other people, yourself and make you think about your actions. They mostly just prepare you for being a leader and business owner. I love reading them because they are changing the way I think and treat other people. They make me feel better about myself.
I do therapy with a little boy in the area that has autism. Its fun most of the time but definitely a challenge. His mom gets to stay at home with him and his little sister and take care of them. He definitely needs that support. I can't imagine having something like that happen to Jake and I. What would we do, we couldn't afford for me not to work. I don't like that, I want to be prepared for the obstacles in life.
Unfortunately most obstacles are fixed by having stable finances.
I dunno, I guess I'm just ready for a change and ready to see things in my life happening. I want to get out of my grandma's house and grow up and it seems like every year it just gets harder. After I graduate I'll have about $600 a month to pay back in loans from school. I'm definitely not looking forward to that.
