The obligatory faire entry

As I'm not cast at Scarborough, I did not witness any after-hours goings on, so if you're looking for titilation and shite-raking, you'll not find it here.

Right then (I can't believe I'm doing this), here it is - WIL:

BTW.. Heather Alexander is at Muskogee. I get to play with accompany her fiddling at least once a day, and it's *such* a tease....

I'm afraid I have to agree with you on points 9 and 10.

I'm really quite burned out on faire at the moment. I have no plans to attend at all this year, and I can't say that I'm especially distraught.

I've not been 'disillusioned' in any way; I have nothing against faire or anyone involved with faire, and I have a great many fond memories of various faires over the years. It's simply that the reasons that I was attracted to the environment in the first place no longer apply.

That's precisely it, I think - well, that and the number of doors that have been slammed in Sprig's face because a rumour got round that we were a ren faire band. Yeh, that got up my nose, sure. But mostly, it's that I can't see the worth in it anymore.
