hard to obey baby
day after thanksgiving, wow. today was the first time that i have ever gone to a black friday and it was quite the adventure. we went for the midnight madness at the outlets from 12 to 7:30 in the morning, dark to daylight. there were so many good deals. no wonder so many people go and wait line to get into a store. i even got a discount on my vanilla chai! that was one of the things that made my night cuz it was freakinn cold out there and the chai warmed me up. even sanrio had a good sale. everything that you could put into a paper bag that they give you is 20%, which is still good for that store cuz stuff can get pretty expensive there. so i walked around the store who knows how many times trying to figure out what to get. it took m awhile cuz i was sorting out the things that i thought were cute, but wouldn't use and the things that were cute and that i would use. so i ended up getting a hello kitty cookie cutter which was a okay with me. i can't wait to make christmas cookie! there was also a line to pay for stuff there, but it moved pretty fast. what didn't move at all was the line at burberry. after we went through all the open stores and finished around four, we decided to stay until burberry opened at 6. and once it opened, they let the whole line of people into the store, which was not a good idea. it was so packed you could barely breathe or get to the register. talk about craziness. it reminded me of a concert cuz people kept pushing to get to the racks. it was too crowded so we just went in line at coach where they only let certain amounts of people in so they there's room for everyone to move. after that, we called it a morning and got home at around eight.
i slept in till 2:40 this afternoon, had some cereal, and then went to guitar center with my dad. he got an amp, guitar, and guitar strap for free. he's quite the special one in that store.
these few days off have been relaxing. i'm really glad i got the time to make collages and listen to music. i made a collage to describe how 2008 was for me: http://www.flickr.com/photos/20576446@N07/3063653655/. it was so fun for me to flip through magazines, glue em on, sing a long to the radio. collage making, one of my favorite pass times. oh fuuh show.
