Well, I still would suggest to ask SuBLime because they announced this week 'Kiss Ariki' as digital and print issue. I do like their work so far, the digital stuff is real good quality. I dunno if they already persuaded her about the licences. But if we fans contact them again + again .. well if we are hitting the doors of the Publishers DMP + SuBLime + Drama Queen they might reconsider and ask again!
I admit I haven't visited it till yet, so maybe you can find all your answers there already. I mean about why she is so strict against re-licensing it.
I mean if Nitta-sensei would just agree to get the complete series out as e-manga .. would be fine with me. At least we fans can get our hands onto it .. I mean 14 Volumes + Digital Mangas seem to be the best option because it is a huge and really growing market.
I just know that the German Publisher 'Carlsen'got their hands onto her series 'When A Man Loves A Man' and I always wondered why they never took over 'HwD'. But still mailing those Publishers and stating that we fans want this series might help.
I just know that Tokyopop Germany at least got their hands onto 'Punch!' and I am happy about it because I'm mailing them since years ^^;;;
I did try to go to the forum at Nitta's official website but somehow my antivirus program doesn't want me to go there, don't know if there's anything wrong with that forum ~~
Well, I'm on it and it works fine. Yet haven't seen anything about it there. Just that some fans posted they want the reprint of the series.
I really hope that the new addiction 'e-manga' can make this dream become reality! I mean it's better having the series as digital release than being stuck.
Oh so you can visit that forum? Yeah the English section is managed by Animate U.S.A so I guess if there's any official answer it's most likely theirs, not Nitta Youka's.
I really hope HWD be licensed in physical books again, aaah, I love the feeling holding the real books and then look at the whole collection on my bookshelf *drool* Guess I won't be satisfied with the digital version orz.
True, I prefer the print issue as well .. yet I have to face reality and this means .. Digital Mangas ^^;;;
Yet, I don't mind. Because they have released a real huge package of already print out e-mangas the last couple of weeks/month in a row. Which I personally think is a real good thing! Books I never could get my hands on because even second hand shops in Japan don't get them ^^ The quality might suck because they haven't put much love into scanning the stuff .. but well, it's ok. Owning those e-mangas now is my new heaven I admit honestly.
And the Companies save lots of money doing so .. that's why they choose this kind of release over the print issue. And to top it .. fans want e-mangas as well. They don't want to wait and pay .. (too long, too much) for the printed issue.
Yet, I will continue with my mails to those publishers .. chatting or talking with them .. being a pest *lol*
Hmm, yeah, if they HAVE to release them in digital version I guess we fans can't really do anything about it. And I understand the reasons why digital version is preferred, eco-friendly and save money (for publishers, not for us readers) and fast and such. Still, in HWD case, I can almost guarantee I won't buy those e-chapters of it unless the quality is superb. For one thing, I already have all the scanlated chapters and they're more than good to me. I guess most of the fans already have them as well. So what we really want now is the physical books that we can feel in our hands ^^"
And yes don't stop pesting them lolz. They should know there are people wanting the manga/yaoi to be licensed.

And well, we could leave messages at the OF Forum: https://nittayouka.com/punbb/
