step 1: you say we needa talk
i think its about time i came back to this, and theres no way im updating about the past however many months.. so ill just pick up like i updated two days ago. cause i dont want to write a novel.
things are pretty good. im going home so that i can go to vmi tomorrow and see el patricio race the 5k. apparently he broke his foot cause he got angry at someone and kicked the kids desk? so hes pretty retarded, and even more retarded for running on his foot, but thats pat for you.
school is a billion times better than last semester. i have real friends.. well, one real friend i guess, but lots of almost-friends. AND i have guy friends, and that makes everything a lot better for whatever reason. im on basement-brent and reed and ian's co-ed soccer team which is pretty much the most fun thing ive ever done, and all of the people on that team have become my friends.
housing last night was pretty gay. lauren, amanda, jess and i were trying to get a suite in arrington cause we heard that those were usually the last to go, and we figured that laurens 1051 number wasnt that bad... it was. we were some of the last people who actually got housing. they told us there were no more suites available anywhere on campus by the time we got to choose, and so we were gonna have to split up and get whatever doubles were left.. but that meant me and lauren would take laurens 1051 and get a double right then, but jess and amanda would have had to wait another hundred numbers and were told that they most likely wouldnt get a room at all if they did that. so we decided to take a quad in bushnell so that we would all definitely be living on campus and near each other.
we saw ian and reed and brent afterwards and lauren is in loooove with ian, so i asked them where they're gonna live, and they said they were in bushnell also. lauren about had a heart attack.
im kinda nervous about the quad though? because im afraid that none of us are ever gonna have any free time. but the bathroom is GINORMOUS, even if we do share it with another quad. and the room isnt that bad either, we went to look at it last night, and it actually is pretty big.
im really looking forward to next year.
everyone in alvey was trying to get arrington so we could all be together again next year, but i think steve bailey is the only one who actually ended up getting arrington. brittney's an RA next year so she and annie are staying in alvey, and mik is rooming with an RA who is staying in alvey. steve and annie make me so angry, because everyone knows they are in LOVE with each other but they dont do anything about it. they do everything together, and they went to california together ever spring break, but they're "not a couple." gay. steve was even gonna apply to be an RA just so he could live in alvey and be near annie again next year (because arrington isnt RIGHT next to alvey...) ugh.
last night i added every possible person to my buddy list from facebook so i could see where everyones living. thank GOD jules is in arrington, i was scared to death that she would be in bushnell like right next door to us. it is highly possible that i would have killed myself if i found out she was in the room next to ours, sharing our bathroom. omg.
time for lunch! i cant believe i didnt have anything more interesting to say.
