ADIML!

Feb 16, 2009 22:13

So yesterday I decided to post my first ADIML! I've done one other before, but it never got posted because the pictures are on my old computer, and the processing speed was too slow to upload everything.

Here's my February 15, 2009!

My room, the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning.

Check the time before I go downstairs to get some breakfast.

I decide on some delicious Crunch Berries (I eat more cereal than anyone I know) and plop down for some tv before I go take a shower.

Since I've been meaning to for a while, I decide to occupy myself with a mini-photo shoot of my old Vans Prison Issues. I've been wearing these babies for about a year and a half, and they've definitely seen better days, but I still love them. They have since been overcome by my new purple Chucks. :D

Check the Facebook and MTT for my daily dose of Jim/Pam fanfic before I head back upstairs.

On my way to the bathroom, I stop in and talk to Gina (my sister). She's watching a MADE rerun and we make fun of it for a little while.

I've finally made it to the bathroom! Survey the damage before I get in the shower.

Close-up of my bed head. It was a pretty cute French braid the day before.

Take off the glasses and hop into the shower!

Just got out and heading back to my room to get ready for the day.

Pop Enchanted into the DVD player while I comb out my locks.

Tools of the trade.

Almost done! Just needs a bit of extra taming for the poofiness.

It's an unhealthy obsession. My hair is naturally wavy, but you'd never know it.

Time check!

Finally finished.

More daily necessities. Mom got me a new toothbrush! Hooray! =]

The necklace I wear every day. My aunt and uncle got it for me for my birthday last year. I only wish it wasn't so blurry, but it wouldn't stop swinging.

Heading out to the car to go get Gini and shop for kid's books! Awkward face is a result of staring directly into the sun to take this picture.

That's my baby! It's a purple Pontiac Sunfire. So hot right now.

Tunes for the ride. Nothing like rare Jason Mraz to make a car ride worth while. *sigh*

Throw on some Burt's at a stoplight. Stupid winter chappedness.

Pull up to Gini's house and she gets in. I took the first picture without explanation, and after telling her about ADIML, she decides she wants to take a creepy one instead. So goes our friendship. Off to Borders we go!

We're going to Borders to shop for kid books for our choir director's baby shower. All of the girls in our choir class are throwing her a shower for her first baby and everyone is getting a book to inscribe as part of her present. On the way into the store, Gin spots Carrie Fisher's biography.

After we were done shopping, we headed to Panera next door and I got this delicious lunch with my leftover money - cream of chicken and wild rice soup, the best kind of soup ever.

Gin's lunch. Haha, she clearly didn't know her face was going to be in the picture.

I then scraped together some change and bought my favorite snack for later, a chocolate chip bagel with hazelnut cream cheese. Yum. =]

Time check! Shuffle puts on Hall & Oates for the drive back to Gini's house.

Haha, I didn't turn hard enough trying to pull out of the parking spot and left this lovely dent in the landscaping. Whoops. =]

We get back to Gini's and find her sister Claire baking cookies for her boyfriend.

We watch some of last night's SNL on Hulu since Gini missed it and I drink about three cans of caffeine-free Pepsi from the garage. At first I didn't believe it was Pepsi cause the new can confused me.

Gini calls our friend Kelsey (pretending to be Aaron Carter) to ask if she can come over to help us make a baby blanket (again, for the shower).

While we wait for Kelsey to come over, we watch the superbowl episode of The Office (Stress Relief). I just happened to capture my favorite ship in this one.

Gini and I compare our phones, mine is blue and hers is white. Yay for Virgin Mobile, the company no one but us has ever heard of.

We go into Gini's basement to start working on the squares for this blanket. Gini's mom does some seamstress stuff as a side job, so we're using her corner of the basement.

This is one of the three fabrics we're using. The other two are yellow and pink.

For some background noise, we convince Gini's dad to put on Singin' in the Rain, a movie that Gini and I can both quote pretty religiously.

I get Kelsey to stop playing with Reagan (Gini's dog) and sit still long enough for me to take her picture.

Gini and Kels play around with the other fabrics while I iron.

Once the squares are cut, we're stuck, since the sewing machine is broken.

We decide to sit and watch the end of the movie while we enjoy some delicious taco-ish dip.

When Singin' in the Rain ends, we put on Swan Princess, which I haven't seen literally in years, and Claire comes down to visit us!

After I leave Gini's, I get ready for bed. Sorry for the horrible quality, my exposure comp was being really touchy with the light in my room.

I put my hair up to wash my face (a new bottle, yay!) and put on my acne stuff.

Surveying my purchases for the day (two of my favorite books from when I was little). I decide to write in Chrysanthemum for right now cause I'm too nervous to ruin the cardboard one right now.

Put in my retainers while I'm thing about them so I don't forget again. They're purple and sparkly. =]

Final time check for the day before I fall asleep. Good night and thanks for following my day!

borders, adiml, swan princess, kid's books, singin' in the rain, gini
