In Pretty Bows With Yours...
I don't know why I never use this handy little iTouch app anymore. Hm.
Well, lots of big things happened since last time I posted, but May has always been a crazy month for me, and this year was no exception. For starters, I graduated high school yesterday [technically Thursday]. Yep, I'll never be a Griffin again.
I'm officially an Otterbein College Cardinal!
As excited as I am, I'm also terrified [see above post]. But, the future is scary, so that's to be expected. I am determined to make the most of this summer, though. I'm so excited. I already have plans to go see Away We Go downtown next weekend when it comes to Chicago, have lunch with Ms. K, my favorite orchestra teacher, and do pilates on the great lawn at Milennium Park with my best friends. This summer is going to be the best of my life, I can't wait.
Oh, also, my new cousin was born! His name is Jack Aiden, 8.8 pounds on May 15, 2009. He's the handsomest little boy I've ever seen. Seriously, newborns usually are not cute and all kind of look the same, but he really looks like my aunt and uncle, who are both completely enchanted with him, by the way. As soon as I post from a computer, I'll put up a picture of him.
I wish he had been born last year so I could have a year with him before I go to school. I feel like I'm going to be his long lost cousin. It seems so weird to me that my grandparents waited for 18 years for a grandson. It's like as soon as a chapter of one life is closing, a whole new existence is just beginning for this little boy.
Well, that's it forurambling tonight. I think the light from my iPod is keeping Bean awake.
