I don't think there's much, there's a little bit of scotch irish in the yates side, but the whole point is really just to get drunk and have fun singing. And the idea of it being a steinhoist comes from the stonecutters episode of the simpsons.

In my perfect world we'd be drinking good liquor out of steins, listening to Irish music, eating French food, all the guys would wear black kilts, poet's shirts would be as common as jeans, we'd be having sex like the hindus, dancing like Africans, get 5 weeks paid vacation, have free medical care, drive German cars, and be paying chinese prices for everything ...except gas-us Yanks can keep the good gas prices.
