I downloaded An Inconvenient Truth yesterday. This is one of few movies that I would not feel guilty in encouraging other people to download, simply because it's the kind of stuff people should know but can't be bothered knowing.
I really wonder how differet the world would be now if Gore had rightfully taken the presidency in 2000 instead of being deposed in that judical coup d'etat. This will be the seventh year now, so it's not a short span of time. Seven years is the difference between starting high school and starting university. I wonder if Gore would have been able to do the things he talks about doing now if he were under the political constraints of government. It's a nice thought of what might have been, at any rate.
Oh yeah, apparently I'm getting called into work tomorrow. ON A FREAKING SATURDAY. >_> The funny thing is on the elevator going down at the end of today, I was kinda giving crap to one of the programmers on one of the other projects because they routinely come in on Saturdays. And who said karma didn't exist? :|
So I gotta be in around 11:30am tomorrow. Still, the way I see it, I work one hour less tomorrow and then I get an entire day off later. I'll be content with that deal. :3
