Creepy Old Men

I got dragged out to go see North Country the other day. It's one of those movies that's based on a true story and I'm always of two minds when it comes to watching movies like that. On one hand you know that it's not going to have the thrill factor as some slap-dash movie with a million explosions and guns, but on the other hand you know that you ( Read more... )

Yah. I've always thought that isolated was not always a bad thing, provided you're isolated with thing things that matter. :3

Hahahaha. Actually, not that you mention it, maybe I'm a little guilty of it too, myself. Oh geez... ._.;;

There's this one thing that I'd really like to get accomplished before I turn 26. Which... gives me a bit under 4 years to do it. Though every time I look at what I want to do, it just seems so daunting that it's kind of off-putting. Mm... I get the feeling that this isn't going to be one of those things I'm going to be able to solo with henchies.

Well, whatever it is, I'm sure you will achieve it! You have the capacity to do a lot of things, young padawan :)

Speaking of talking to other people, it's so hard getting a hold of people whom I really want to talk to. They all seem to be lost in their own little world with their own problems to deal with. Not that I have much of a right to complain about that kind of thing, but still... It'd just be nice hear from them a bit more often. Or is it just that the only reason I want to hear from them more is because I hardly hear from them at all?This is something that's been getting my proverbial goat the last couple of months. Supposedly key people in my life just completely obliterated ( ... )

Heh heh, yeah. I think it wouldn't be so bad if people would give a straightforward reason for their withdrawl instead of trying to be nice about all the time. ._.

Yeah, all the more reason why I don't like having to deal with people. :p I know not all people are that bad, but the minority just kind of spoils it.

And thanks, that's good to know . :D

Since my own advice often sucks, here are some quotes.

The impossible is often the untried. - Jim Goodwin
A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step. - Lao-Tzu
The man who makes no mistakes does not usually make anything. - Bishop W.C. Magee

And one just for you with regards to friendships:

Thank you for being a part of my life. If I had to do it over again, I'd do it with you. - Ken Grant

Thank you for your support. ^_^; I dunno, I guess sometimes my mind tends to exaggerate my thoughts a little too much at times. ._.

Nice quotes, too. I'll try to keep them in mind. :]
