Argh, it's hot again. Hot as in sweat-in-your-jocks weather. Again. But on the up-side, this is prefect ice-cream weather. And I still have a 2 litre tub sitting in the freezer that needs to be polished off. Mmm, tasty. :3

Visited Jay earlier in the week. He asked me to drive over because he had something for me that would "require a car". It turns out that his new monitor had arrived. It's this over the top widescreen LCD that he merrily runs at 1920x1200 and it look so pretty. X_x As a result, he now no longer has any room for his old 19" LCD monitor which he quite generously lent to me for an undetermined length of time. So I'm now working with dual monitors on my computer. :D
It'd be nice if the two monitors fit together perfectly so I could stretch the desktop over both, but eh, I'm happy with this configuration. A little overkill though, I reckon. But it is certainly convenient some circumstances. It's nice when I'm programming to have the console open on one screen and the source code open on the other. Or if I'm drawing, to have reference pictures on one screen and Photoshop open on another.

Speaking of drawing, my tablet definitely has a connection fault in it. Ah well, I guess I have had it for about 6 years now and it's been through all sorts of abuse. As soon as I get a little extra cash, I'll see if I can get myself one of those funky new Intunos 3 ones. Maybe I should save up a little extra and see if I can get a 6x8 one. It'd be nice to have a little more control things given my screen resolution. Though a 6x8 is about double the price of a 4x5 which is what I'm used to working with. So I'm still 2 minds about it at the moment. Ah well, not a big problem since it might be some time before I get my hands on any money. >_>
In the mean time though, I'll probably have to cut down a bit on the stuff that I CG lest I go nuts with frustration. And since just about all I draw is CG, well, I guess I should use the time to catch up on other stuff. Though there's a few things that I want to draw (and a few other things that I've been asked to draw). Things like "GW emotes that you'll never see!" Oh yeah, that has the potential to be mischevious. X3

I've been busy studying for a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) qualification lately too. That's going slowly at the moment, seeing as how I knew next to nothing about networks until I started reading up on the sort of stuff I'll need to know for the exam. So many acronymns and jargon and ack, memorising. X_x Still, it'd be a nice qualification to have. And it'd look impressive on a résumé too, both now and in the future. Not that I'd remember it all in the future but y'know, it'd be good to have that foundation there. Besides, I prefer to think of it not so much as what I can and can't do but more of what I have and haven't already done.

I can't believe I spent a couple of hours this evening tutoring a girl with her year 10 maths methods homework. X_x Actually it was more of a favour for a family friend, so I didn't get paid. And I didn't even volunteer for it; I was volunteered. I hate it when I get sold out like that. >_>
Anyway, talk about a blast from the past. Do YOU still know what the quadratic formula looks like!??!?!?!/11///11//1/???//??/ O_O Ugh, linear relations and quadratic relations. That brings back the horror memories of high school. =_= I mean, there were good times but uh, for the most part, ew.

And now I've also managed to rip a hole in my pants just under my butt. Brilliant. And I liked this pair, too... ;_; First my tablet, and now my pants. What's next to break? Yah, I know I'm probably jinxing it, but I don't care! C'mon! BRING IT ON! DO YOUR WOOOOORST~!!@!@#!#$@(&#^@(#6979378aosduf0*&#@^($^Q%9876bra o_o
