chapter 29: take me far away

“Omendetou, Ohno-san..” I just smiled when JE staff congratulated me. Finally, the contract had being signed between me, Jonny-san and the organizer of the exhibition. My dreams comes true- held an exhibition out of Japan. I’ve called kaa-chan and tou-chan about this- uwah, can’t wait to tell my members. Ah! I forgot- Masaki at Singapore for Dobutsen, Jun is in NY watching musical, Sho is in Beijing for Zero.. ah, Kazu! My no 1 best friend ever~
I can’t stop smiling in the car when I’m on my way to Kazu’s house. Suddenly I saw someone walking. She is not the usual someone- she is Mia- I’m positive. I stop my car.
“Mia-chan?”
No reaction.
“Mia-chan?”
She turned. She looks..tired? no, no.. not that word. it is not tired.. it is something that I don’t know how to express it. She looks-down.
“Daijoubu?” I asked. Concerned.
She just stayed silent.
Ok, Satoshi- remember what Kazu said- she is not good to start a conversation. Duh, even we had chatted, cooked and laughed together before? I even had confessed my love to her! “I’m on my way to Kazu’s house? Want to have a lift?” she didn’t answered. Yabai! What should I do? I open the car’s front door and surprisingly she just entered it- without any words or facial reaction.
She sort of like… died??
I started to drive. 3 minutes passed- no one said anything. I have no choice- the famous-spacing-guy-ever will start the conversation.
“You know, I wanted to tell Kazu first about this, but since I’ve mate you- its okay. I will hold an exhibition at New York! Finally, my dream comes true! And, and.. the best part is- it will not an Ohno Satoshi’s FREESTLYE art exhibition- but using another name, I’m not deciding it yet- just not Ohno Satoshi- you know, I don’t want ohno satoshi’fans come to my exhibition but the art lovers.. you get what I mean, right?”
I turned at her. She is sobbing! I stop the car slowly. Took a deep breath. Think, Satoshi, think! The answer is- b. l. a. n. k
I tap her shoulder, once. “Mia-chan?” nope- no response. She is still crying. What happen? Tap her shoulder again- twice. “D-Daijoubu?” still, the same resp..wo! she suddenly clung to my shoulder. Crying out loudly. I let her be. I’m her crying shoulder now.. baka me! She is crying and I can still smiling? “Mia-chan.. doushita??” no answer.
“Daijoubu?” still.
“Ok, lets meet Kazu ne? I send you home and…”
“No! I don’t want to go back home.. not tonight! I don’t want to see him. please, Satoshi-kun.. take me anywhere but not around him.. please..”
“Ohno-san?”
“Hai?”
“Her fever is quite high, but don’t worry, I’ve given her some antibiotic and pain killer.. hmm.. she is depress actually… just don’t make her sad too much, it will not be good for her” Satoshi nods for what had the doctor said.
The doctor left and Satoshi then, sits on the chair beside Mia’s bed. He looks at her face. Suddenly, a drop of tears fall from her eyes.. he sigh.. If only, Mia..
If only you meet me first before Kazu..
if only you becomes my maid instead of him..
if only you love me, not him..
if only you want to be my girl, not his..
you will not crying, suffering like this, Mia~

It has been 2 weeks Mia and Satoshi at New York and there is no day within that period, Satoshi didnt see Mia crying silently. He know it, even how hard Mia try to hide it, he still knows it.. including the reasons for the tears
“Kore!” Mia startles.
Suddenly, Satoshi gives her a small flower that he takes from the park just now when he takes Mia there. Blue in color. “it is my ‘official’ color.. take it!” Slowly, Mia’s right hand reaches the flower. “the middle color is so cute. Kawaii~” she smiles. He smirks.
“Eh? Nande? why did you smirked?”
“Nandimonai..”
Mia looks at him. “Satoshi kun”
He turns at her.
“Arigatou”
“Arigatou?”
“For being so kind, so nice..”
He smiles. “I love you, Mia-chan.. you know that. I just don’t like to see you sad..”
“Satoshi-kun…”
“I understand you love Kazu.. you couldn’t feel the same way like what I have for you.. but I’ve told Kazu, I wont let you go if ever he make you cried..”
“Satoshi-kun… please..”
“Ok- ok. Stop all these sweet taking scene. I’m hungry, dinner?”

“Lets go!”
They arrived at the restaurant. Quite exclusive. There are only few guests around and they seems didn’t notice him. “U sit here.. wait me for a second..” Mia nods. She takes her place. Facing the big piano.
She looks around. This might be expensive.. I bet, Johhny-san really loves him~ suddenly Mia hear someone playing the piano.The sounds are really pleasant. She closed her eyes. Enjoying the music.. and then.. “.. this is from me to you, Mia..” she opens her eyes and she is right- Ohno is holding the microphone. Ready to.. sing?

I try smiling in front of you once again today.
Mia’s couldn’t stop her tears. Oh, God~ Satoshi puts the microphone down and walks to Mia. Mia stands up, wanting to run to him but she can’t. She just can’t. She can see clearly Satoshi’s eyes become teary. Slowly he takes Mia’s hand.. “You are here..” and place it at his chest. “in my heart.. but yours.. is with him..”
Mia is sobbing again.
“Nakahara Mia, listen to me.. two weeks i saw you cried and suffered.. please,Mia-chan..go back to Japan.. go back to him.. give him a chance.. to explain everything.. listen to your heart.. you are a good girl.. you deserve to be happy..”
“But, Nagasawa-san..”
“Shhh.. listen here, I know Kazu, really well.. he loves you.. I know, he loves you.. her really do..Masami already said that she will move on, so, give you a chance to have the happiness that you want, with him..together .. dont punish yourself for something you didnt do.. .. don’t make yourself suffer like this Mia..”
