£57 million - that's a whole lotta money

between reading for my food&drink essay (on the austere (vegetarianism, teetotalism, ascetics) diets of early modern England) i've been watching skits from Comic Relief. i still love love love David Tennant. of particular note are the French & Saunders spoof of Mamma Mia! and the Smithy v. The England Team bit. must love Gavin and Stacey. £57 million. the single most successful Red Nose Day to date. i am amazed, and seriously wish Canada would follow suit.
the ManU v. Liverpool game today amused me muchly. seeing the Serb red-carded helped. no one here actually supports ManU, so it's all good.
British wine gums are very chewy. i don't like it.
the lads are down at the Courtyard, annoying Lee by supporting Italy in the Italy v. Wales rugby match. i stopped by to witness the drunken revelry. oh my.
never let me forget that now, haha, this 2009, is the Year of Jade Goody. (as if i ever could)
by going to the library to pick up key texts, i scanned the "returns" shelf and discovered that my entire food&drink class must be researching their essays last minute, as our books abounded, haha.
i clearly have nothing of substance to say. back to reading!

food, school, television, england, friends
