People will reveal themselves for what they are all by themselves, as long as you are paying attention.
I hope the American people are paying attention this time. The press can help by reporting facts and helping people make connections, but the conclusions remain up to the individual. Unfortunately, people by nature become insanely partisan and refuse to see the faults in the people with whom they have aligned themselves.
*sigh* If only this kind of thing only applied to politics...
