Apparently in Vancouver there is a Pocky store. No, not a store such as Suncoast that happens to sell Pocky (and have a Pocky Guy? good times...) but a store that actually has large Pocky-shaped signs above it and says "Glico" in large letters above the entrance. XD

Today I learned how to bake challah! They were having a class at Hillel, so I decided to buy a mixing bowl and check it out. I've never baked bread before, and it turned out to be a lot of fun.

(Challah is the sort of cakey bread Jewish people traditionally eat on the sabbath and holidays, btw, for anyone who doesn't know...)

Today my mom and I started putting together my Lirin cosplay. It's so great to not be making my costume in the last week before Otakon this year... XD; It's actually fun, this way. And my mom's being super helpful, which is really nice.
