or maybe we should be asking why we're allowed to criticize, say, the US all we want, but we're not allowed to touch China? I don't get all up in arms every time someone makes a criticism of America, because, quite frankly, there's a lot to criticize. on the other hand, I make one sarcastic comment about China and all of a sudden, I'm public enemy number one. because that's how you're coming off.
I think it'd be more productive to discuss how to fix things so that these sorts of stories don't keep happening, rather than writing off everyone who says that there's a problem as just blindly attacking some country you like.
Dude, Steph, aren't you supposed to be open to political debate? Cool thinker and all? You're breaking down all my myers briggs stereotypes, man. :P I didn't mean anything personal, though I can see how it could have been interpreted that way. This is certainly an issue I feel strongly about, but I was not attacking you.
ahahahaha, I just understood what you were getting at in your first comment. I thought you were all like "those freaking americans are always attacking my chinese homies grr, how dare you take their side," or something like that. I should remember that not all people are confrontational like me >.> (so your myers-briggs stereotypes are probably still valid)
I will think deeply about your points INTJ-style and get back to you later, probably after I'm done feeling embarrassed on completely misreading your comment.
