Ha, what does it say about me that I'm delighted by
Guillotine: It's Legend and Lore but am rather bored by
The Diary Of Anais Nin, Volume 4 (1944-1947). I guess I lose girly points or something. Oh well.
I am rather disappointed by
Lost by Gregory Maguire. I really enjoyed other books of his (Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, Mirror, Mirror). Then again, I heard poor things about his sequel to "Wicked". Well, on to better books after I'm done with this one.
It's been a while since I've juggled so many books at once. Am fully reacquainted with why I rarely do this; it sucks for me, each books distracts me from the other and then I just feel all over the place and like each book is taking forever to finish. My husband seems to juggle books as a matter of course, I don't know how he does it. Bah, I don't think I'm going to bother finishing Nin's diary.
