So- I want to just post this because I'm quite proud of it so far.
Since I've really been focusing on being more healthy & losing weight over the last couple months I've lost 19 lbs!
Ideally I would still like to lose about 20 more.
I think the biggest positive change was my eating habits. I cut calories BIG TIME. I also added more fiber, cut back on white flours, sugars, etc. My portions are smaller and I eat enough to be satisfied not full.
I've also been exercising. This is something I need to up in order to continue the weight loss. I know I need more cardio. I can feel my muscles becoming more toned from the pilates, but I need the increased heart rate more often. It's getting nicer out, so I need to pull out the bikes and hook up the kids trailer to my bike. That way I can enjoy the sunshine as well as get some exercise. And I need to keep up my pilates each night. I really like the focus it gives to my core and I like that its low-impact.
My current size pants are a bit big and the next size down are almost perfect- not quite, but almost. That makes me thrilled. I think I'm also down a cup-size in my bra, but not completely sure. But that makes me extremely happy also. Luckily I kept some of my "skinnier" clothes, so it will be fun to work my way back into wearing them as I had some really cute skinny clothes.
