I have been a part of the local Camarilla since September 2006. In that time, I have observed the steady, inexorable decline of membership. Simply uttering the word "Camarilla" is enough to convince the vast majority of local gamers to stay home or find something else to do.
When you really look at it, it's easy to see why.
The Camarilla is

I try to make the games as often as I am able to, alot of it depends on how I am feeling when I get off work lately or if I have something going on either game related or not.
The main reason why I haven't shown up for the past few months is because honestly I didn't feel welcome when I showed up and honestly that hurt my feelings alot when I feel unwelcomed by my friends whom i think as an extended family, so instead of having to feel that I decide not to go. Especially so with my last visit where people left the requiem game or just didn't show up when myself, corissa, tim and sandra, and chris showed up.

When you guys departed to SF, you basically gutted the entire power structure of one covenant and over the ensuing months continued to show up and dominate the scene when you did as if you were still the big-dogs on campus when you still left to go play in greener pastures.
I'm happy you guys found success in the Domain of the Myst. But you can't expect us to totally forgive the idea that it was done because our game wasn't good enough to help fix.

If you're not having fun, do something else, but don't advocate for something that's going to take something away from everyone. I didn't, and won't.
Besides, my reason for withdrawing from Requiem has nothing to do with the Cam, and you know that. I wasn't having fun, not because of the Cam, but because I think the rules systems for LARP Requiem are a big steaming pile. We have had this discussion.

He's been helping me and Sasha with our Hunter Larp and he's been a great help in making that game successful.
The Cam does deserve to be saved. But whenever I ever tried to stand up and say 'lets do this', I could hear crickets chirping.
You can only do that so many times before you figure its not worth it.

And like I said, I figured it wasn't worth it a long time ago, but that's not my point. My point is that there are clearly people still engaged in UnSun who care about the interactions they have with the game at large. Suggesting that we should take that away from them is offensive at best.
Though the emphasis has changed from ripping the game down and making something new to replacing it with something else(which I might suggest is the exact same thing), what's important is to have this voiced to as many people who would be affected by it as possible.

. Do you remember the first game we had? We had like...20 or 25 people. Eric, Woody, Poetics, Noel, Jenn, Andrew, Bryce, Dave, and Adriann are among the names of people who participated in those opening games. A month later, it was about 15, and for lots of various reasons. It's been slowly dying since. This may be the end of the Cam requiem game, but it's not right to suggest taking the Domain away from the Cam in a private discussion ( ... )
