Eid Mubarak to my brothers and sisters in Islam!

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh

I am taking this special moment to greet all my brothers and sisters in Islam EID MUBARAK this September 29!

To my non-Muslim friends, I hope you enjoy the double-pay for working on October 1st yet still get paid (not double anymore) even if you don't. hehe!

May Allah SWT accept our fastings and prayers during the blessed Ramadan.

I am especially happy this day because I did not have my annual Eid prayer mishaps. I was able to join the congregation prayer at the Indonesian Embassy. It was my first time to be there and it's a wonderful feeling. I will post pictures very soon, insha Allah.

The khutbah (sermon) although short (15 minutes only) was precise and straight-to-the-point. Although the takbir was quite different from the rhythm I've grown up listening to but it was all good.Duston was able to meet his friends and make new acquaintances. I was with my mom and niece and also got to meet friends.

We were not able to stay long enough at the Indonesian Embassy because we needed to rush to the DZRH radio station to plug Duston's company NEAC because we needed to catch up with the 9AM radio program.

The celebration does not end here because we will be proceeding to Antipolo City for another Eid celebration with the Muslims there. And we were informed that more will be embracing Islam too and would like us to witness. Yup! More pictures and videos to be posted very soon, insha Allah.

I've been away from LJ for quite some time, I know. Some of you must be wondering what's happened to me since but I'll update you, kitties as soon as I can organize my thoughts. I've been incredibly stressed and physically tired for the past weeks. I don't know where to start. Right now, I just want to be happy because it's Eid.

I pray to Allah to grant me more patience and strength to face the challenges and trials that come my way. This is all a test of endurance and faith. I am sick of failing. I just don't want to survive this. I want to come out of it a better person, insha Allah.
