I just realised something about the movie Avatar.
Throughout the course of the movie, the male hero is first compared to a baby by the Native American Princess character because she literally screams "You're a baby! You're ignorant! You're just like a baby!" But whose baby is he? Hers. He's her baby since she's given the task of 'raising' him, and even supervises his manhood ceremony where he shoves his 'uplink' into the warm, glistening slot of a powerful, seductive beast.
Then later in the movie, he sexually possesses his mother-figure and with her help kills his father-figure.
Avatar is Freudian as all fuck.
