I am going to lose 28lb and go from 196lbs to 168lb. I'm also breaking it down into carbs, fat, and protein and I'm starting to think that I haven't been getting enough protein ( Read more... )

Id love to do the same thing, and in time that is exactly what I plan on doing. I used to be a personal trainer and did this kinda stuff for people all the time, let me know if you want any help at all.

Totally doable. Best wishes!

Remember not to get down on yourself if your will breaks down and you "cheat" every once in a while. In my experience (successfully losing & still keeping off some 20ish pounds with South Beach Diet), even downing 1K calories of junk food at once, occasionally, doesn't even cause noticeable weight gain. Just a little lag, especially if you exercise. So just accept any consequences observed and keep going.
