I'm busy counting calories.

I am going to lose 28lb and go from 196lbs to 168lb. I'm also breaking it down into carbs, fat, and protein and I'm starting to think that I haven't been getting enough protein.
My daily goal is to consume:
1500-1850 calories
33-72 grams of fat
169-301 grams of carbs
75-162 protein,
I am getting these figures from an excellent website called Sparkspeople, they seem to know what they're talking about, I trust that they have got it right.

I quit alcohol, that is sorted, now I will control what I eat and it's about time. My body mass index is 28.2
By the 1st of October this year (or hopefully before) I will be down to 12 stone. It will feel so good, I am loving the thought of it ***big smile***
