Friday Five: Two sets of questions a day late

(and the irony is, I didn't actually enter this on Friday because I was traveling with Mom!  Friday was a beach day -- Crystal Cove for tide pools, Laguna for the overlooks, and Doheny State Beach in Dana Point for the surfers.  Aside from getting back on the road to Riverside too late (e.g. 2.25 hours in a car for a 40 mile drive, ew), we had a nice time and I have some sun and Mom has pictures to show for it.  But anyway, on to the Friday Five!)




Theme: International Travel

1. You have the summer and plenty of money to travel abroad. Where all would you go? I'd love to see Europe.  Can I pay someone to coordinate a trip all over the place for me?
   
2. What foods would you be sure you got to eat? Cheese, beer & chocolate in Germany, wine and pasta and everything in Italy, real Greek hummus & pita, tapas in Spain.  And if I went to Turkey, I'd eat some turkey.
   
3. What landmarks would you be sure you got to see? I've never gone, so I would just want to see everything!  I would really like to see all of the white & blue coastal regions of Greece.
   
4. What airline would you use? Whichever one got me there and gave me a big seat to stretch out in and good food :)
   
5. Would your knowledge of other languages influence where you went? (i.e. would you be more likely to go to France if you spoke French) Maybe a little...I'd probably at least try to learn a few basic interactive phrases.
   

Theme: USA Road Trip

1. Who would you take with you on a road trip? Hmm,
   sparklesalad and I had such a fun time road tripping, let's go again!
   
2. What states would you visit? This time, let's start in Florida and drive up the East Coast.
   
3. What national parks and/or monuments would you go see? Lots of beaches :)  We could stop in Washington DC and tell the President what we think... and I'd like to spend a day or two in Boston & NYC.
   
4. Las Vegas: Overrated or a Must-See? Worth seeing at some point, but yes, somewhat overrated.
   
5. How long would you be gone? We'd have to go for 2-3 weeks so we don't have to rush.
   

And let me just say, I just got a call now at 10:00 AM saying that one of my therapists never showed up for work this AM... great.  Now I have to figure this crap out?!
