Ok. So, I'm in the process of researching flights for a trip in June. I've looked a little at sites like Orbitz, Travelocity, Kayak, etc... and can find semi-cheaper prices, but I'm a little bit afraid of those places. I've looked at reviews which are overwhelmingly negative...the horrors of lost itineraries, hours on customer service telephone lines, etc...
I'm tempted to pay a little more and book a flight through an airline website, which feels a bit more secure.
What are your experiences? Tell me the good, the bad and the very ugly.
At this point, I'm not opening up about where I'm going, but it is international.
