Torchwood...tell me why you love it
Ok, so I just finished the first season of Torchwood. I didn't love it the way I hoped or expected. The final two eps were the only ones that caught my attention at all. Really, the acting felt mediocre, the characters were not particularly sympathetic, some of the storylines were incomprehensible, and even for sci-fi it just all felt too far-fetched. Everyone (well, janicechess and fiona_fawkes) tell me that season 2 is much better, but I'm not convinced, and it's not listed on netflix, so I'd have to go looking for it, which I'm not likely to do.
If you love it, tell me why. If you don't...offer some things that I should add to my netflix queue, since I only have 7 things on it. I've watched Six Feet Under, Weeds, Dexter, BSG!, and I'd love to start a new tv show. Anyone seen Carnivale? Rome? The Wire?
