[ACTION of HIGH caliber]

[GUESS WHAT TIME IT IS GUYS? It's time for Minamimoto to be an absolute asshole? That's right! Well, what has he been doing? you might have noticed him being relatively quiet for a while. Well part of this is him licking his wounds, yes, but another part of it is experimenting with making Noise capable of lasting in ( Read more... )

[Guess who just happened to be on his way out of House 25 heading for the barracks when... what the HELL is that thing? Fortunately he's armed, meaning his laser scythe is coming out as he studies the thing for a moment to get an idea of its attack patterns.]

[See but bro? Being on the ground is not a good place to be when you run into an Woolly AOR. Because right now that mammoth-like Noise is going to rear up on it's hind legs before slamming onto the ground with force enough that it prevents Neku from moving in-game it makes a relatively notable earthquake-like thing.

Oh, and you might want to avoid that yellow lily-pad-shaped-shockwave thing coming at you. They hurt]

[Arumat's a lot bigger and more sturdily-built than Neku, but it still causes him to wobble for a moment with a muttered curse. He looks up just in time to spot the shockwave, and while he has no idea what it is, he doesn't have enough time to move out of the way (one of the drawbacks of being built like a tank: Arumat is sloooow in battle). Hopefully a few slashes from his scythe will deal with it.]

[PSYCHE. As pure energy those shock-wave-things can't be destroyed or damaged or anything like that they suck in-game, they really do so as such the slow-moving lily-pad is going to collide with him! ...Debatable what it feels like but given how Neku reacts to being hit I imagine it feels like a solid open colliding with you, and then it slips through you like energy, and then it vanishes once it's through you... because Arumat is about at the edge of shockwave range.]

[The initial impact isn't too bad-- he's taken a lot worse in fights before, and he's got enough muscle to cushion the worst of it. What hurts like hell is when it passes through his body. Thanks to the injuries he sustained nine years ago combined with the genetic manipulation he underwent his muscular system is a ticking time bomb, and while the Malnosso have removed the worst effects to make it no longer fatal, the shockwave sets off a cascade of painful spasms, causing him to snarl and drop to one knee temporarily.]

[Wow. That's a weird effect. The energy-part is harmless-ish to most people in the UG, so seeing it effect someone who's actually truly physical.... Minamimoto makes a mental note of this un-calculated bonus from his perch. As for the Woolly AOR? It's going to standing there looking menacing for now. IT might rear up again soon enough though]

Nngh... Diabolic Edge!

[And he surges up to his feet, whirling his scythe around in a whirlwind attack that will be near-impossible to block. He does not take kindly to having his weaknesses exposed, especially not by... THINGS like this.]

[OOC: He spams the heck out of that attack in this fight if you want to know what it's like.]

[The Noise does not block it! It instead takes those hits like a bitch! The thing is, as the Noise is pure imagination even though it is taking damage it does show any signs of damage. No wounds, no marks, no anything. And also, because Woolly AORs are immune to push-back for the most part, after that tirade of scything goes down,

Well if I'm reading this right that buts Arumat close enough for it to swing it's pimp-trunk at him]

[Indeed it does, and he's going to try to block it with the scythe. It'll probably push him back a few steps, but he's too sturdy to be sent flying (unlike Neku). He'll retaliate with another Diabolic Edge.]

[Still no visible damage, but this time instead the pimp-trunk it might shake it's head. The tusks aren't a conventional attack but they are -well - there, so those might be an issue]

[One of the tusks catches him in the upper arm, opening a gash there before he can retaliate (which he does, with a wide slash). Oddly enough, he seems to be enjoying this fight despite the injury-- it's been far too long since he's had a real battle.]

[Wow what a queet guy. Still, the damage is being done to the Woolly AOR. Not that any of it shows. But then, you mgiht want to be weary. It's doing the stomp + shockwave thing again and that might just be pushing Arumat back. Or at least hurting/being awkward]

[This time Arumat is prepared and not about to make the same mistake. The stomping pushes him back a bit, but he manages to sidestep that shockwave and give himself enough time to... teleport? Congratulations, Woolly AOR, you've just been blindsided. He'll reappear directly behind it and launch into a Bloodstorm Revolution. Let's see it get out of this one unscathed.]

[OUCH. OUCH MY HP- well that did a lot of damage! ...But it didn't erase it and so long as a Noise isn't erased there's no visible damage on the thing because you know, it's not alive so it can't have wounds. But Minamimoto, from his perch, really liked that, so he clamps there]

[That sound doesn't escape Arumat's keen ears-- upon hearing it, he whips his head up to search for the source of the noise. A spectator, hmm? There are only a few reasons why someone would be watching this and applauding, and Arumat is definitely getting creepy vibes from this guy, meaning...]

So you're the one responsible for this.

[Don't forget the Noise man! It might just try to swat you with the trunk as you're going to be ignore him like that :C

As for Minamimoto though, he shrugs and smirks-]
