more good eats
with all this eating out, you'd think i'd finally gain some friggin' weight. maybe i should be skipping the salad and just order two helpings of dessert. :)
my most recent outings (this is all purely for my own future reference)....
La Buca (5210 1/2 Melrose Ave, LA) -- fantastic food, the waiters are super nice (and quite cute). it's a teeny tiny place, but totally worth it. we had the Insalata Fabio, Insalata Primavera, and Fungolata to start, shared dishes of Trenette Carbonara and Tagliatelle Bolognese, and a Alessandro pizza. it was all SO tasty!
Nyala (1076 S Fairfax Ave, LA) -- ahh... my favorite ethiopian restaurant. the veggie combo platter & a #9 with lamb are more than enough for two. finger lickin' good.
Diddy Riese (926 Broxton Ave, LA) -- hadn't been there in well over a year, so a return trip was definitely warranted after sucking down some scrumptious ethiopian food. cookies galore! and super cheap, too! my fave is still mint choc chip ice cream between two choc chip cookies. yummy!
The Little Bar (757 S La Brea Ave, LA) -- definitely little, but a cool place to suck down a pint or two.
