No one wants to be defeated!
Homecoming is so fun! Yesterday was the parade and I got cotton candy (yum!) and my first candy apple. Ciara told me to take it home so I could slice it, so I did, but I'm not sure I like them that much. It was good but it was really sweet.
We're playing Assassins in Kellum Hall, and as we were walking back from the parade I was almost assassinated!! I saw this girl beside me pulling out her assassination assignment card so I knew she was after one of us (Heather, Tazreen, and I all live in Kellum and are playing the game). So I was like, I'm gonna pretend I don't know her. She shouted, "Chelsea!" right next to me, so that I would turn towards her, but I was like, "I'm not gonna look, I'm not gonna look!" But Heather looked! So the girl slapped the bullseye on Heather. Heather asked, "Who are you looking for?" And I ran... all the way to Reynolds where I hid behind the back door. Heather said the girl was like, "I'm looking for Chelsea," and Heather told her that she wasn't Chelsea. The girl took the sticker off Heather and turned to her friend and was like, "Well now what do we do?" If she had brains she would've run after me. It was a really scary moment, but it was really funny cause right when the girl yelled "Chelsea!" Megan Edwards was like, "Chelsea, NOOOOOO! Chelsea, don't!" Such drama, lol.
Then we went to the grocery store with Ciara and Anna to buy our stuff for the potluck and we got some really great Chinese food to take back to Kellum.
Late last night Heather and I got into yet another religion discussion with Ciara, which was great. I really love talking about religion with her. It was nice because I'm kinda getting frustrated with my Baptist bible study. There's a lot they said Thursday night that I don't agree with. Ciara is Mormon and she was telling us how she believes her church is the true church of Jesus Christ, and that no matter what your religion is you should believe that your church is the true church. And I related to that because I've realized that I don't believe the Baptist church to be the true church of Christ. I need to keep searching I guess.
