Originally uploaded by dannytypesthis. Plants have this dualistic behavior in cities. It is a strange attraction and a strange adversion. Anyhow, now that i've been transplanted - i'm starting up a new herb garden. It's not much now, but once the transplants start to set root I'll have enough basil to do pesto and the like on a regular basis.
In short, plants!
Here you can buy grass in boxes to remind yourself of what a lawn used to be like. They come just the right size to set in your window. I'm thinking about getting one of these and when people come over I'll say, "oh do you want to play in the lawn with me?" and then we will. Or maybe, i could spend an evening manicuring the lawn - with siccors. You know, these are important things to tend to.
