Day 5
I decided to explore the park on the east side of the island for the purpose of running.
High Bridge Park is an interesting place. Sometime in the future when the humans are dead, most urban areas in the world will look like High Bridge Park.
While on my merry way -- noticing the birds and the weeds and tripping over the cracks in pavement -- I stumbled upon two mexicans doing it a little off the path (10 feet). The funny thing was that i didn't notice them as I passed and turned around right there, and noticed them in the other direction. Gross. I guess it's my welcome to the city.
