A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words, No Truer Words Have Been Spoken
Sometimes I wish I could draw. Unfortunately I have the artistic talent of a rock. I can't draw to save my life, unless you count stick people. The reason why?
When I write, sometimes I get the scene in my head, just a still scene. But to write out the scene in my head would require a hundred words or so just to properly describe the actors, what they're saying, their actions while saying it...And this hasn't included what they're wearing. Worse, words do no justice to the scene in my head. I wish I could just print out the scene and draw it or something, to preserve the originality of it.
I get very frustrated sometimes when I write because I can't properly express what I want to tell the readers. Worse, anime influence sometimes bring about comedic scenes that doesn't work in words.
I've read works by really really talented authors, both published and non-published, and they make me wish I could write as well as them. It's amazing how you get sucked into their world on description alone. I can only wish that I can reach that level of writing someday, although I seriously doubt that I can. Those non-published writers, fanfic writers mostly, some original fic writers as well, I can only take my hat off in respect of their talent.
Gah!! Now it's becoming more depressing. Don't mind, don't mind! as they say, yeah? Just need to keep at it.
