Tumblr Addiction
It's been a while since I've posted in LJ, partly because, well, I've been busy with work, and partly because I've become addicted with Twitter and Tumblr.

So, I started 2 30-day challenges at the same time almost two weeks ago, one for Arashi and one for jpop and jdramas in general. I'm failing a bit because I can't post on some days, but I'll post the first 10 days of both here now.
Day 01: Favorite Arashi Song - Kaze no Mukou e

My friends say it's weird that it's my favorite Arashi song, but...well, I like it. Just listening to it makes me feel good. And it came at a time when I really needed encouragement, so yeah, I love it even more for encouraging me to keep going and keep the end goal in mind. It's such an upbeat song, and it's a surefire mood improver.
That's why it's my favorite Arashi song.
Day 02: An Underrated Song - Snowflake
I think "Snowflake" is an underrated Arashi song. It's a pretty song, but it doesn't seem to be given much attention.
I was originally going to post something from Dream "A" live, because I think that album was underrated as well. But then I thought of this and forgot all about Dream "A" live.
Day 03: Favorite Album - Arashic

I was thinking of posting Dream "A" Live as my favorite Arashi album, but when I looked at the tracklists...I realized I like Arashic better. And besides, I love Carnival Night. ^__^
Day 04: A Feel Good Song - Kitto Daijoubu

Kitto Daijoubu definitely qualifies as a feel good song. It was one of the songs in my cramming for thesis playlist. It gets me through stressful times. The message "Things will definitely be alright" is exactly what a feel good song should convey.
Day 05: Favorite Aiba Solo - Pika*nchi
I know this wasn't originally Aiba's solo, but...I was just blown away by this perf. I mean, I didn't really like Pika*nchi that much. But his version was just amazing. I really liked the sharp military-like moves. His costume isn't military-poi, which somehow makes it more Aiba-poi and adds a "rebel" kind of impression to the video.
