I woke up this morning to a thin white blanket of snow.

It won't stick, but it's depressing all the same. Snow should wait until AFTER Halloween. I want kids to be able to trick-or-treat without the snowsuit. (always my pet peeve when I was trick-or-treating - you're supposed to wear your COSTUME.)

It has most definitely snowed.

My lawn is spackled white over the (admittedly more brown than) green, and there are snowflakes in the air.

It won't stick, but still.... humph.

Last night big, fat, wet snowflakes appeared in my life, and this morning I awoke to see that they've stuck around. I can't tell if its still snowing or if the snow that's stuck on tree branches is just falling off in large, wet plops ( Read more... )

Blizzard today. Saw some beautiful little blue flowers yesterday. It's kind of sad to think that they'll be all frozen up... but I think they're snowdrops, so it might be okay ( Read more... )
