aaaugh!

May 18, 2010 18:29

So much aaaugh! today. There is much work to be done at work, and only 2 weeks to do it in. I'm not sure if I can accomplish it to my boss' satisfaction due to time constraints and the fact that he is a picky bugger, but I am mighty glad that he decided that we are not taking May off with no pay after all since my big deadline is for the end of May ( Read more... )

Today, for me, has been relatively aaaaugh!-free. But, after yesterday and the whole 'you have no electricities! How does THAT feel with your internet addiction!' fiasco, I kinda needed an aaaugh!-free day.

Your boss is such an indecisive man. He really confuses me most of the time. But, at least you are busy. I mean, Boss was so sure that he wasn't going to get ANY projects... still. It's annoying. He should be a politician, he flip-flops so much.

And I didn't realize this was the downstairs ppl when I commented on fb. That's even more bizarre. I mean, it wasn't like they were thinking "oh look, this patch is in the sun! I don't think anything is planted here. Weird that the grass isn't growing." They actually knew stuff was planted there. I thought it was the people who own the dogs, but they are both guys and I was confused. They don't seem the gardening type. That is harsh. And yay for boy dealing with it. If it had been me, I would have been throwing punches.

I'll have to tell you the story of me pouncing on the Epcor guy when he came to disconnect the power. He looked scared.

If you need to flail/rant at someone/go for tea let me know. I need to get out of this house...

I think he made the downstairs neighbour cry, but yeah, he dealt. And is it odd that I don't feel guilty for kicking up a fuss, but I do feel slightly guilty for not feeling guilty? :P

And yes! Tea soon! :)

oh! he made her cry?! But at the same time, it's kinda common sense, and good on him for making her cry... but, um, I didn't say it that way. More along the lines of "good that he made her realize the repercussions of her actions" or something.

Just let me know! I think I can spring for tea if it gets me out of here.

He didn't mean to, but I think she was fairly upset/embarassed. Hopefully things will smooth over in the next few days. In the grand scheme of things, it's not that big a deal.

AND - I am going to try to convince Jonny & Dave that we need to climb tomorrow night and go to the Story Slam at Haven 7-9:30. If I can convince him, wanna come? We'd probably eat there...

yes, please get me out of my house!! Nikki is getting far to used to me being home lately. And I've been meaning to go to Story Slam.

I would have been upset/embarrassed too. Hell, if I was in Jonny's position I would be, too. I don't handle confrontation well. And it will smooth over.
