WELL HELLO THERE.

I ... CAN'T ... STOP ... STARING AT THAT SECOND PICTURE.

Anyway, I think fandom is still around, it might be smaller, but it was always such a tiny fandom (certainly the smallest I have ever been in. Which, to be honest, I think is one of the reasons I ended up being so productive. This really was the fandom where I thought, "If I want to read that, I better write that," which THEY SAY is what you're supposed to think every time, but usually in every other fandom I'd think "If I want to read that..." and that fandom would be SO BIG that someone had already written it.) to begin with, I guess I never really noticed a GIANT exodus. (but lots of people have left in the summer for X Men, I think.)

JESUS WHY CAN'T I MAKE THIS COMMENT USEFUL?

I know what you mean about the master-list ... I want one too and when LJ went crazy I decided "I am going to archive all my fic ever at A03" but JFC THE PROSPECT IS DAUNTING. I have a hard enough time keeping up at just LJ! But, yes, as a reader, I can say master lists ARE helpful and definitely make me more inclined to read more. But, really, even tags do this. (if we're talking LJ) ANYTHING TO MAKE LESS EFFORT FOR ME.

(also, now that I have survived BIG BANG time and finished my "Mark writes his memoir" piece, I just want you to know that finishing the "Mark sees Dead People So He Goes To Find Wardo" continuation of your perfect story is next. WATCH OUT.)

noo this comment is plenty useful! i understand, the whole tiny-fandom-ish thing.

uuugh it's way too daunting now, when i thinkn about how many kinkmeme fills i have written! probably in like.. the 50s? 60s? I DUNNO. CHRIIIST.
