The reviewer wasn't kidding when s/he said not to rely on the show for driving directions. XD

I wanted to make a post on my reaction to the new Hawaii Five-0 earlier, but real life kept being cranky about it, especially since I'm taking a class this semester in an attempt to start going back to school. And I didn't have any plans to get addicted to a new show. Sigh ( Read more... )

Doesn't Danny want to stay away from HQ because they're corrupt (and probably set up Chin Ho?)

And hahah, yeah, "North Korea." Mmmm-hmm. They should've just made it Iraq.

Well, possibly. But the whole task force set-up wasn't that clear to me--does he work there full-time now, or only when the governor gives them a case? At this point it looks like he's there full-time and doesn't report back to his old precinct, but nothing was explicitly stated that I could tell. (That's probably part of the mysterious conspiracy Steve's dad was investigating. Now I wonder if there were multiple reasons Hess went after the dad, especially considering the holiday spoiler that was posted recently.)

Considering the end credits has "filmed entirely on location on Oahu," they might have a difficult time finding a place that resembles Iraq. XD

Yeah, it's confusing (and I'm behind).

They could've just set it in a garden somewhere instead of a transport! (To be fair, that's Iran.)

(So you have yet to see the latest episode that caused slash fangirls to spontaneously combust in sheer glee? XD)

...I'm getting a image of Steve with a small unit and a restrained Anton Hesse tromping through a garden now. XD XD XD
