marcus and ashley

I had a really odd dream (and that was only the last out of 3). I don't even know why, since the elements of it were so bizarre!
I was gonna go out with Ashley and Marcus. It seemed as though ashke knew them, and wanted to know if Kar was going along. He was - gonna take the train down from Pasir Ris with Ash and Marcus - but didn't want ashke to know so I had to make up a quick lie, and thankfully, ashke decided against coming along.
When the train pulled in, I saw only Ash and Marcus. That guy was lying down on the seats, as though he owned the train. Hah! I can't recall if it was then or later that I realized the two of them were a couple! The seat beside Ashley was dirty, with crumbs and a used tissue paper on it, so I had to shout at Marcus to move one seat down. I thought we were going to town (Orchard or the likes), yet when we alighted, I didn't recognize the station at all. They took me out through an escalator that we had to walk quite a bit to get to. The escalators weren't working, so we simply took the one on the right with the least people. Funny enough, it started moving when we got on the escalator. o_O I thought that we might be at bugis, yet I couldn't pinpoint why, since the surroundings didn't quite fit.
I was in for another rude shock. She was going for a surgery! She was calm and dignified throughout, but I sensed that it was a make it or break it one. My mind was also occupied, trying to figure out how on earth they got together, and worrying over Marcus' not-so-fabulous (to me) history. The two of them seemed quite close though. I looked for an opportunity to suss him out, warn him not to break her heart, but they were always together and I definitely didn't want to do that in front of her - not even jokingly. I sat beside her as we waited, then we hugged. I had a memory of her telling me once on LJ, that she might not live long. Yet even in my dream, I was aware that I haven't actually read it. Was it a false memory? But it did fit with reality!
She came back shortly after, and I exclaimed, "Hey! That was fast. I didn't even realize you left. That was like, less than half an hour." To that, she laughed back, "Half an hour? They sucked it out in seconds!" Okay... so the surgery was to suck out something. Hmmm. I suppose it was successful then.
While her attention was on something else, I whispered to Marcus: "Haha you'd better not bring her to school or she'll find out all your dirty secrets!"
He looked at me coldly and declared, "I have no dirty secrets."
Well good, maybe he was honest from the start. But given the sudden awkwardness, I had no wish to pursue the matter any more. Maybe it's true love this time.
Why Marcus and Ash? I'm still trying to figure this out. o_O I think he'll be flabbergasted when I tell him. Hah!z
