(no subject)
Gah! I have work tomorrow! My first work for three months, and full time work too! Gahhhh!
I hope I do OK... I've got to admit to no small amount of nerves. I just hope I like it and... yeah... I hope I'm good enough.
Spent most of today chilling. Watched the remaineder of the second season of Dubbed Yu-Gi-Oh GX. (Stop looking at me like that! That stuff is Crack I tell you! Pure Crack! Though Zane/Ryo is kinda cool... why is no one writing about Evil!Zane? Why!!!) and writing that long Yu-Gi-Oh fic. It's going rather well, developing in ways that only a good story can.
Which is to say that, whilst I've written down a rough plan, I'm not sure of the exactaties but that doesn't matter because it's tending to evolve in a fairly logical manner AS I'm writing it. I'm still not sure of the 'style.' My longer pieces tend to have a much 'plainer' style which leaves me wondering if it's OK but... meh.
I may end up asking one of you to beta the first bit for me. Because if I'm making some sort of misake with it as regards characterisation or writing, I want to know. (I seem to be reffering to Yami in at least five different manners at the moment. It's kinda cool but I'm not sure if it's a good thing...)
But yeah, four pages on that down.
Also, in case any of you are wondering, the working title is Shadows in the Guarden. It's from this little piece of verse which I remember reading in a Star Treck Graphic Novel, of all places, but I'm sure it actually comes from something else too. If anyone can tell me where I'd be very greatful.

and when the greater darkness comes
they too shall fade and be forgotten.
