I'm pretty sure there used to be a way to block users over at FF.net years ago but I can't find it again now that I need it, gah.
There's this... let's be generous and still call them a person, who every week or so for the past month sends me the exact same message ( " its a pleasure meeting you please contact me here [name redacted] at gmail dot com" )
but 1) they never commented on anything of mine at all so we've never "met" in any way 2) the message feels like a pornbot trying to sell virtual hookup to be honest 3) I suspect they could be sending the same spam to who knows how many other users?
I'm way past the "hey it could be a legit fan with social enxiety trying to spark a conversation (too bad I'm not interested at all, their profile is totally empty and my own social anxiety deems it not worth the effort to try and engage the conversation to ask why in hell would they want to talk to me in the first place)" phase by now, so what do I do now that I'm convinced it's a spambot and do not wish to even try to outright tell them to stop harassing me; contact the abuse team directly?
