Rocky Horror
I was zipping through the 900 channels we have on our Yes Satellite TV looking for something normal to watch because as usual, 900 channels and nothing to watch. Then my cell phone beeped a new text message arrived. I read, laughed and replied, and only then noticed what the hell the TV was playing. It took me a second to recognize but when the words just came out of my mouth I knew instantly that whatever it was, there will be no more channel zipping.
"Lets Do The Time Warp Againnnnnnnnnnnnn" was playing on Yes Weekend and the show was Cold Case. Good thing it was a show I like. So I watch, I sing to myself, I watch some more. This episode was about a serial killer who killed 7 people but they only had evidence for about 5 or 6 of them, and now, 25 years later and he's supposed to be released, they wanted to keep him in prison. Blah blah blah, they find evidence against him on one of the murders they hadn't had evidence beforehand blah blah blah, the murder itself takes place right after a Rocky Horror show so that was what the music was all about. Or so I thought.
And then they showed the murderer himself. If it hadn't been 3am I'd have been screaming.
Barry Bostwick. As in Brad Majors. As in serial killer. As in AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had seen him on Spin City of course, and he was playing a stupid mayor. I had seen him in Rocky. But I hadn't seen him anywhere else. So seeing stupid mayor brad majors actually acting was eye opening. The guy *can* act! He didn't just get the part in spin city because he was Brad (asshole!).
At the end of the episode they did it the Rocky way - names of actor and who they played in the Rocky bleeding font, and for for Bostwick they put his picture as the murder next to his Brad Majors picture.
It's dumb. I know. But.....
