The nurses finally seem to understand Eris is not made of glass and as such, he is up and walking about. He is dressed in lavender scrubs, and his right arm is still immobilized. If you're in the clinic, you'll probably run into him.

[And hey, Perseus has come for another visit. This time he has brought a plate of brownies and his clothes are a different color: mostly light blue with white trim and seams. He has come alone this time, so he can talk to Eris without scaring anyone but him.

He's surprised to see that Eris is up and about, and that he actually looks really good in hospital clothes. Perseus stares at him for a bit before he remembers he actually has a voice.]

Hey, Jack.

[blazing_ascent]

Eris recognizes the voice and turns to see Perseus standing before him. It isn't the brownies that catch his attention and he is quite obviously staring.

...

Oh! Uh, hi Yuusei. Eris' grip tightens on his IV pole.

[Perseus notices that and is definitely pleased. Changing clothes had been a good idea.

He walks closer to Eris, lifting the plate of brownies a little.]

I brought you brownies. I made them this time.

Did you now...? Eris smiles, and lifts one from the plate.

[And what is likely several hours separated from any other visits Jack might be receiving that day is the visit an errant Ruka! The only present she has today is Jack's own coat, returned from secret dry cleaning and mending at the tailor. Ruka knocks on the door to his room.]

Jack? It's Ruka. May I come in?

It's open. Eris is sitting up in bed, legs crossed and reading a book.

[Ruka opens the door, but -- how odd! When Ruka enters the room, she's walking in backwards, her arms wrapped around something bulky. Once she's in the room, however, she turns, nudging the door closed behind her with her foot. She smiles.]

Feeling better today?

Y-yeah. They finally let me up out of bed.

What are you holding?

[Dark Queen sits on one of the beds and waits for what looks like a bear claw wound to heal. She keeps her right eye closed as to not arouse suspicion from the nurses and staff. But it was really annoying. However she knew that that Aki and her brother wouldn't risk confrontation here. She turns and notices Jack but then looks away really quickly.]

Well, hello dear Jack. Fancy meeting you here. What did you do to your arm huh?

I was in a high-speed crash. And an explosion. They told me I broke my clavicle. Eris is uneasy around this Ruka, which is rather odd since he barely knows Ruka in the first place.

~Scutum has been wandering around as per Kiryu's request, looking for Jacks to kill. He's made his way to the hospital, although he can't tell that's what it is yet. He pokes his head inside, looking around. he hasn't seen Eris yet.~

Hark! A Yuusei. One who looks infinitely more familiar. Eris approaches as quietly as he can manage in slippers and toting an IV pole. He's just about to speak when he catches sight of Yuusei's eyes. Completely empty. This was the puppet Christmas had warned him about.

... Hi.

~Scutum looks over and frowns a little. This Jack was hurt. As much as he hated Jack, he couldn't justify hurting him while he was already down. They were still brothers after all, and he had some honor when it came to his brothers.

He sticks a hand into the room and waves a little.~

Eris doesn't move. He's seen Crow's wounds. Are you okay?

I'm glad to see you're up and walking.

Ah, Hello Mikage! Eris smiles. I'm doing better. How are you?

[She seems surprised by his happy response to her.]

I'm doing well.

...It seems that the doctors have loosened your leash.

Good to hear. And only a bit. I can't leave yet.
