turning one, part three

This time last year I was in labour with Bao! Now she's asleep in bed after a full day of shopping and walking around, while I labour (ahem) to churn out this last round-up post on our past year with her. I don't have enough time to sort through the tons of photos from my cameras, so iPhone photos it will have to be. Pity about the picture quality, but the photos serve their purpose - to show just how much she's grown and changed over the months. Babies grow so quick and looking at some of the early photos I can't believe that was the same child!

Freshly-popped and not at all pleased about it.

One month old.

Two months. Her round face has always been a source of great delight.

Three months. That hair! That expression!

Four months. She was very solemn and unimpressed by everything around her at this age.

Five months. Sitting up, laughing at her brother.

Six months. She started to crawl and could also pull up to stand.

Seven months. This was taken the day the movers packed up our stuff in Singapore.
She looks so scrawny here and this only proves how much weight she gained after we moved.

Eight months, and just after we moved.

Nine months. She's an efficient crawler and beginning to plump up.

Ten months. She stands up easily on her own and gets into everything.

Eleven months. On retrospect there was a big growth spurt then
because she no longer looks like a baby.

One day shy of twelve months. Cheeky, opinionated, and off to conquer the world!
